Email me if you have questions, or want one, or have one.  Thanks for looking...kixfixing@gmail.com I had more than 200 machines waiting to get on this page. I was hopeful I could get them all serviced and on here soon.
But in January 2019 we had a wind storm (a year after 10 acres downwind from us was clear cut). Five second growth fir trees fell all at once, taking out my storage. This picture shows it being cleaned up, the farthest tree to the left is across my wood/metal shop and my sewing machine storage. So much for "save a sewing machine, save the world".

ANKER Sold

This machine is barely for sale. lol I love this machine! So it will take enough money to help me drowned my sorrows when it is gone. Or an AC TIG welder. I can be bought.  This machine could handle being mounted on an industrial table over a servo motor, it can be converted to hand crank, it can sew light to leather without hesitation. It sews a wonderful stitch and is a "forever machine".  The case is in really nice condition, too! Some folks call these old heavy machines "boat anchors", well...sign me up, I'll take an ANKER any time. :)
Weighing in at 42.8 lbs and $450.00 Found a new love. SALE: $350  OK for the love of May... $285

SOLD Bernina 540 favorit   I put this one on a industrial table with a servo motor. May be sold.

As one might expect that appreciates old machines and Bernina, this is the all around utility, heavy fabrics to delicate silk, soldier of sewing. What really makes this sweet is the case. The bobbin case is poorly placed on these early flatbed Berninas (and a few other Euro machines), but this original case much easier access.

This is something I make to help most heavily built domestic machines to handle heavy threads. But I've always stayed at #69 or less, even with these auxiliary tensions. The bottom picture is my final design.

Bernina 730  SOLD
This is my favorite Bernina,  I guess because it is everything the 830 is (sort of) but a little more bullish. Especially if all the gears are steel. Interestingly, the same machines did not have the same material in regard to gears. Some had nylon, some steel. No knee lift on this one. But if set up with an auxiliary tension (on your right) it can handle the industrial thread #69.
$395 with the swinging green attachment box, bobbins, feet and case and original Bernina cabinet. (She's at Mr Bergstrom's in Port Townsend, on consignment)

BerninaMatic  801 SOLD  Both SOLD

This is a 7/8 size machine, if there even is such a thing. When looking this one up you want to be sure it is Matic and not the Sport. This is in very good condition, also with the Sew Steady table and a choice of 5 feet. This model has 5 or 6 utility stitches, it is perfect for travel and small places.  She weighs 21 pounds. Serviced ready to go.

The SINGER 206K SOLD and the earlier SINGER 99's 126's ETC.

These to are staging it together. The heavy little 99 (no reverse) knob style stitch length control and the early Singer aluminum zigzag machine, the 206K. Both beautiful I've never seen a 206 this nice before, it looks more like it is 3 years old instead of 60. The 206 has its original case with has seen its years, but still pretty nice. The 99's filigree is probably 98%, but there is hair scratches below the spool. They must of had a pin catcher there for a while.  The 99 has some paint chips from being bumped, because their is little wear anywhere. I will need to either put this in a 3/4 cabinet, or build a base, they don't sit solid without support.  The 99 is 23 lbs and is $125. The 206K, much more rare, weights 29.4 (with case) and the price is $350. The bare bones the 206, the bigger machine, weighs less than the 99. Thus, the aluminum bodies became popular and liftable.

SALE This is a picture of probably half of the other old black-style singers I have. They are mostly the 201 and 15 series.

To the right is a Damascus Electric. I love the Nouveau style! I believe this has the nice bentwood box. $185 Sale $95

elna   elna   elna    SOLD

I have several of these Elnas, I like them, so I pick them up. They can be touchy if you don't know, or come to know their little quirks. But on the other side, they make a beautiful stitch and are quiet and smooth.
Tough, gentle, easy to operate, really nice stitches, even almost a perfect zigzag. There are three pictured here. Cams are expensive, so the camless machine is less. $195 - $265

SALE: $125 barebones, extra for cams. Just a note, their cams were ahead of everyone else's. So they had flowers and ducks, etc.

Pfaff 1222  SOLD

The Pfaff 1222 is a walking foot, multi-utility stitch is a favorite among quilters. The built-in walking foot makes this a fantastic machine for layering fabric mating seams or patterns. I have a couple of these 1222's some are 1222E. But this SE sold. Most have cases and an extension table. These machines are prized for their built in walking foot. They run $350 to $485 SOLD I got another one in, went through, it appears fine, seems a little noisy, as some earlier models were, and a new cam stack has a stitch different from the button's picture, so it is priced at $250

Elna 62  SOLD

I really like these machines, even more when I learned how to deal with their one little a flaw, an electronic part in the foot pedal. It was a part to keep the motor from interfering with a TV. Well, that is no longer a problem, but the part itself can leak enough power through to cause the machine to growl, as if it wants to run on its own. So, I just by pass the unnecessary part, and all is good. Yeah! So they are off the shelf and being used. Wonderful machine! $265 SALE: $125 bare bones, more with cams.

I have several of these. This cabinet is gone, but I have others.
Singer 401 with cabinet... Beautiful!

The 401 is a complete vintage experience. All kinds of stitches, and cams, attachments, and quality. They were the heart of a lost era of fixable machines that lasted as long as they were maintained. It makes a wonderful stitch while all along has the power to handle heavier material.    $285  SALE $250 Need to move these into homes where they will get used! $195 cabinet and all! Due to lack of storage now.... $150 cabinet or no cabinet (different accessories are available)  $125 serviced, and barebones.

Kenmore 158-4500 (I think)

Picture
Heavy, heavy machine. Does great running through lightweight leather and heavy materials like upholstery.
Zig zag, straight forward and reverse, takes cams. It has one cam in it and I'm on the prowl for more, to add to it. That is medium weight leather under the foot now. It didn't have a problem. But like all domestic machines... things could change with a heavier needle and thread. So heavy upholstery threads and a leather needle would have to be tested throughly before I could say it will meet light-medium leather sewing needs. $135.00 ($165 if I find cams)

White Quilter's Star

Picture
Computerized light to medium fabric machine, modern assembly. A lot of utility stitches, easy to operate. Like new and originally sold for $695. It is still available brand new for $295 on sale. Manual and most of the accessories are still with it. This one is $179   Sold

Singer 500 "Rocketeer"

Picture
Flatbed, zigzag, plus dial in stitches, plus cam stitches, reverse, gear-driven, all metal, all purpose slant needle. Same as its famous sister, the 401,  a wonderful
machine with no limitations. Uses cams and they are still easy to find.
These sweeties are easy to maintain and fun to work with.$195.00  with zipper foot, bobbins, and a few cams

Singer 401

Picture
“Infamous”  The best  built-in, multi-stitch, all purpose Singer sewing machine ever built.  Flatbed, zigzag, multi-stitch dial in, and cams, reverse, gear-driven, bullet proof, all purpose, all fabrics.  All metal gears. $195 without case, but other feet, discs, bobbins,  are included, and more discs, feet, cabinets or non-original/original cases are available and maybe a free cabinet.

Singer 503 "Rocketeer"

Picture
Flatbed, zigzag, plus cam stitches, reverse,  gear driven, all metal, all purpose slant needle. These 503’s are wonderful for simple straight and zigzag work, while they do take cams, it can also be nice to have a machine that is solid and simple inside. $195 no case, extra bobbins and a zipper foot, other feet available
Probably one of the toughest, multi-stich, easiest to use, sewing machines for the home Singer sold (just my opinion).  cabinet or not

Singer Stylist

Picture
Like the Touch and Sew the “Stylist” fell victim to starting out great, and ending up, ‘not so great.’  The early ones were wonderful solid machines, but later on the plastic gears came in and everyone I’ve found with plastic upper gears, the gears crumbled.  I only sell the early models. And I have several of these!

$85.00   with zipper foot, bobbins and usually a case.   4 for $200  SOLD

Kenmore  Very heavy!

Picture
Kenmores, especially in the light of what is being built now, are the do all, for all, best well rounded vintage machine. They usually have the extra lift for their foot height  and after that...  just simply do what they're told. These bigger, heavier models sometimes have fairly large amp motors and handle thick material and garment weight leather.  $125 with case. SALE $95

I have a lot Kenmores from very heavy to fairly light. Wonderful casual machines for beginners and occasional mending. They are  more willing than most to take on unusual threads and tough jobs. But some do or do not have that perfect stitch older European machines have. Come try them out.

New Home Sweetie $240 with Sew Steady table. She is calm and easy to operate. Lots of stitches, good performance and not too heavy to move around, while certainly not a light weight.  SOLD

The three above have all sold. Or donated.

SOLD  This golden Kenmore (to the left) is HEAVY and it has plenty of piercing power. It has needle positioning and cams. I like the lever reverse.
$195       Very impressive German designed machine! $225 with cams
